Take an exclusive tour through the beautiful city of Annecy.
Participants will get an English guided tour of the city :
The Lake, the Canals, the Old town and its Churchs.
During the visit, you'll get to visit :
- Annecy's castle : a restored Castle which dominates the old French town of Annecy. It was bought by the town, restored and transformed into a museum, le musée-château d'Annecy. The castle is listed as a monument historique by the French Ministry of Culture.
- « Palais de l'Isle » : a castle in the centre of the Thiou (a canal in Annecy.) It was built in 1132. It was the primary residence of the Lord of Annecy as early as the 12th century, and later became the Count of Geneva's administrative headquarters, then alternately a courthouse, a mint, and finally a jail, from the Middle Ages until 1865 and once again during World War II. The Palais de l'Isle was classified as a Historical Monument in 1900, and today houses a local history museum.

April 13, in the afternoon: Chamonix Glacier: the Mer de Glace

- Departing from Chamonix, this famous rack and pinion railway brings you to the Montenvers site at 1913 m. An imposing panorama of the Mer de Glace glacier, the Drus and the Grands Jorasses.
- The « Mer de Glace » : (Sea of Ice) is a glacier located on the northern slopes of the Mont Blanc massif, in the Alps. At 7 kilometres long and 200 metres deep, it is the longest glacier in France.
- The « Grotte de Glace » : (Ice Cave) The Ice Cave takes you into the heart of the glacier : carved every year, the ice sculptures illustrate scenes from alpine life in the early 19th century.
